I would advise against that move. Have not
seen any Sky-Dweller to which this has been done - which may say something in itself as I have seen lots of them - but if I let my imagination run wild, I can picture how mine would look de-cyclopsed and the best I can do is not burst into tears.

I, too, have a love hate relationship with the fluted bezel.

In general I think Rolex hands are not has visible as they should be due to how they polish them compared to other brands. Except for the more sporty hands like in the submariners and the like, I find most of the "straight" hands from Rolex do not provide...

Whaouah, you had a chance at the WG blue SkyD Roger. That is a bit of a unicorn from Rolex as they only made VERY few. It is actually the one I want and I would happily trade my blue and white dials in SS for the WG blue dial, even if I had to add cash 💸

Yeah. I was even told at the time that it was a unicorn.
But buying just to hold on and sell later isn’t my thing. I sold my blue dial patek 5980 because it just didn’t wear right on me. I made money, but that’s not my general pursuit.
Similar to others, this timepiece creates polar opposites... fun dialogue.
