Hi, I'm just a little interested to know what you were informed about the radiation effect from Radon on the dials. Most people are exposed to 1,000 mSv/yr and nuclear workers approximately 20,000 mSv/yr. If you travel frequently, you may be absorbing 5 mSv an hour. Your risk is higher if you travel transcontinental. Hence, if you travel a lot, (and ski a lot) you may be exposed to almost as much radiation as a nuclear worker, uranium miner or some hospital workers. The "Exit" signs in most buildings are Class C radio active waste and contain a huge amount of radiation and should always be handled carefully. Perhaps you had a lot of vintage radium dials and I'm not sure if you were wearing them every day for 30 years. As a joke, I would recommend you store these Rolex watches in jugs of water.
