and I gifted her the first Rolex in her collection - a nice Ref. 1505 with all-original Tritium hands and dial and Case & Bezel in nice and sharp condition imho. As you might expect she really loved it, the current models were a bit too "loud" for her but...

Indeed, these Oyster Perpetuals are far from being rare but in good original condition AND for a fair price they are getting harder to find.

I love giving our gift to family members…that is beautiful I am sure that she will enjoy this incredible gift!

exactly my thoughts and a Rolex also makes a great heirloom for our daughter. That is definitely a watch that can be passed on to the next generation if she is interrested.

And as you noted, these are a very different watch once on a strap. I’m glad she liked it.
