I recently had a scare on my oldest spring drive
I got this Credor moonphase in 2006
Here's 2009
And again in 2011
and in 2015 when I got a mechanical one from the same series.
I have only worn it once around year-end for 10 minutes. Probably it sat for 6 months before that.
When I strapped it on a week ago, it seemed to lose 10 minutes the first day. I reset it and kept wearing it and it was still 5-10 minutes behind that day (it didn't catch up). I reset it again and left it on the table -- it still seemed slow.

I started planning for a service. Is something wrong with it?
And maybe a case polish would be nice. But I wound it up more fully, reset it once more to the atomic clock and have worn it non-stop for 5 days straight - it's within a second after those 5 days!
Forget the service!
