It's an interesting design although I agree with yoir assessment. Going on looks alone, the case seems a bit large. The dial is very cool but a bit busy and nkt harmonious. Interesting but there are GS version that are better executed in my opinion.

I'm glad that the power-reserve indicator is visually balanced here by the small seconds display (unlike on many other GS references, where the sense of symmetry is thrown off by the PR).

but totally agree.. the movement was a low point for me too.. nothing special about it. not clear from the pictures, but does it have better movement finishing than the usual man produced one.. if yes, I would have assumed they give it a new movement desi... 

It's the ordinary movement, unfortunately, and I don't like the text on the sapphire caseback either. Best, Emmanuel
