My favourite iteration since the original...perhaps even better?

I am not fond of the blue dial with the yellow gold - I actually think it looks quite gaudy. I much prefer the rose gold version which to me exudes class and discreet elegance. Photo credit to Deployant. ...  

Black would have been great or even rose gold with a black dial!

Not necessarily visible to the eye. Ground Lapis looks like this on a tempera painting I own, but is variable with light. ...  

That blue only comes out if fully illuminated. Like most dials from Grand Seiko and Credor, they are inherently dynamic.

What I'd really love to see is an openworked variant that shows off that lovely finishing...

Just wish that the movement is 'upgraded' to 9R02 finishing. Eichi II is 10 years old this August, hopefully Eichi III is around the corner sooner than later.

But the inward angle of 9R02 (even though it is only 1) is a clear upgrade. Also believe the other extra (though not as important is the power reserve increase to 84 hours. If 9R02 is in Eichi III, would be seriously tempted to find funds for one.

Micro Art Studio is a small shop and I’m not sure where or how they apportion the labor on things like that.
