Looking at your photos reminds me of James Bond. I was just watching From Russia With Love and Casino Royale recently, and Bond travels to Venice and Trieste in both films! Your photos are wonderful. It's great to experience the vacation through your eyes! Of course, my favorite pictures are those of your daughter. I wish I had her eye lashes! Most women would kill for lashes like that -- and without mascara! She has no idea how lucky she is. The last picture of her cleaning her plate of chocolate is too precious! Your dog is super cute too! My neighbor had a Cocker Spaniel named Maggie when I was a kid and she was a sweetheart, so I've always had a soft spot for that breed.

If you love Venezia, there is a place called Muggia, at 10 kilometers from Trieste, a small village in the Venetian style. You can go by car, or by boat to have more fun! Yes, I'm still using ( and abusing of ) my Leica D Lux 4. Thanks for your comments, ...
