And Rovinj is an excellent idea! As a moderator's dog, my dog loves swimming pools, so I preferred to let it at Trieste with my fathers in law... You're lucky to live in such an aera of the world, Damian, even if it wasn't always easy, there. Our GTG aade...

If you love Venezia, there is a place called Muggia, at 10 kilometers from Trieste, a small village in the Venetian style. You can go by car, or by boat to have more fun! Yes, I'm still using ( and abusing of ) my Leica D Lux 4. Thanks for your comments, ...

Looking at your photos reminds me of James Bond. I was just watching From Russia With Love and Casino Royale recently, and Bond travels to Venice and Trieste in both films! Your photos are wonderful. It's great to experience the vacation through your eyes...

Have bin there in the last years for a while really beautifull, was very inpressed in Croatia, visited the city's of Pula, Porec and Rovinje, if you ever have the chance dicover Croatia a little bit more, really worth it. Best, Michel
