No rings for me, especially after one of my friends tore the flesh from one of his fingers to the bone after his ring got caught in a nail climbing down from a tree, only exception is a matched wedding band to keep the missus happy.

I like them on other people. I especially like the one with the bear and the red stone; maybe a ruby?

I only have one gold and onyx ring bought in Gold Street in Muharraq 1967. It was for a special reason to naively wear/carry something of instant value in case I found myself in difficult territory at a time when the UK was extracting itself from Khormaks...
