My favorite pizza joint in our area is Lampost Pizza
I believe they have a couple stores in southern California, and their "The Works" pizza is awesome. But just as Ping has already said, nothing beats pizza in New York City. Give me a cheese slice with mushrooms anyday! Yum Yum

Your picture almost makes me want to fly to Chicago just to eat the pizza, heh. I have to say that one of the best pizzas I ever had was at Tra Vigne in Napa Valley. But I will always love the big thin slices from the little mom and pop shops in New York.

Little Toni's in North Hollywood
is great pizza--if you like it thin. I have yet to find Truly Marvelous Pizza in LA, but Georgios in Studio City is also excellent for thick crust. Bon Appetit. BTW, agreement here that Mozza is only so-sozza.

When I ate my first slice in Venice Italy...
it put all slices before it to shame... and it was just 'some place' in Venice. It was very thin and seemed to have very little cheese and sauce on it, YET the flavor was sublime and at the same time, filling and comforting... Ah Italy is Heaven.
