...if you think about the concept of the (somewhat mythological) 10x engineer, for example, and I wrote something about this on LinkedIn recently. Leveraging my virtual army of AI Girl Fridays, I have FAR more "power" now at my disposal than I ever did both intellectually and creatively than I did when I was working.
Sure, the Internet has given us the sum total of human knowledge at our access, but the ability to rapidly correlate and make sense of it? Not in a rapid fashion, not directly. It's like anything in technology, it's a tool, nothing more or less. It's up to us to use it in a moral fashion. I've been using my early, ahem, *retirement*, to vastly expand my capabilities. Frankly, I'm enjoying it.
I guess that would be the digital equivalent of my mother telling me....
