well Daos, the reason i like them is this.
when i had a desktop i had an office which was essentially a room full of
mess and because i get a bit addicted to things i was in there every 5 minutes
to check emails etc so didnt spend much time with the family. my dad has the
same thing at home and spends half the evening in the office playing
solitaire.

when i got a laptop and then 'er what used to be indoors' got one we could
sit together and talk, watch TV and still answer emails and do stuff on the
computer.

thats why i think Laptops are the winners. ipads are also as good. i can
sit here in front of the telly, skyping my friends, emailing, reading purists
posts etc and have a printer in the corner of my dining room for when i need
it.

when icloud takes off a pad is all we will need to do what we want as long
as there is a facility to plug our essential camera's into the pad.

Was laptop, now iPad
It has been iPad since the last 3 months when Santa bought me the toy! Ming is correct that it is a bit more limited but I think the website can also be a little more tablet friendly too. For eg., it should be easier to post pics taken on the iPad. J.

Maybe if there is a large number of users who primarily use iPad for posting, the powers that be could look into whether or not there would be a way to post photos directly from the tablet (like hitting a "share" to PPro button). Cheers, Daos
