Both have problems
Dart markers were quite popular with V&C in mid-50s when these were manufactured. Your first example appears to be a sloppy redial; that index at 9 would really bug me, not to mention a missing SWISS :-( The second example is a bit of a mystery so thanks for sharing. I cannot find another example of outward-pointing dart indexes after looking over a few hundred catalog pictures from the era so I'm forced to conclude its likely not original. Shame because I find it rather pleasing and the usual caveat regarding V&C styling applies that anything is possible. The only certainty would be for a physical examination.
