They were launched (this version) in 2013 but the design language builds on the 1972 from - no surprises there - 1972. It’s the fourth generation 1972 but they did not perform well in the market, which largely favors round watches. Lucky me - that made the few remaining more accessible 🍀

Figured it was time to enjoy this one again. Always a pleasure on the wrist with its slim profile and curved case back - and looks like nothing else even after all the decades since the launch of the original 😊
