What a beautiful and classy looking Vacheron Constantin 1972 Prestige De La France.
It is always a pleasure for the eyes and brain to see this beauty and a wise decision to keep it out of reach of those very sharp puppy teeth too. I don't really think about whether a watch is a dress watch or not before wearing it, I just avoid wearing a delicate watch in an unsuitable place. I am still wearing my Boucheron La Carree Ultra Plate which I suppose really is a dress watch but I wear it daily whilst still very casual.

Figured it was time to enjoy this one again. Always a pleasure on the wrist with its slim profile and curved case back - and looks like nothing else even after all the decades since the launch of the original 😊
