I think it is a great model as is...
and there is no particular detail that would keep me from buying either the chronograph or the automatic, though I will join the chorus to say that I would like both totalizer subdials to be the same size in the chronograph.
I like the idea of a white gold edition that would have a special color dial to distinguish it from its SS brothers. I propose the blue that was used in the limited edition (75 examples for the North American market) Overseas Chronometer from early in this decade:

I'm fine, as is. I wore 2, 44mm watches: the IWC 3786 and the Patek 5711, iirc, is 44? Anyway, generally prefer 42, but evne more prefer 40-41. Thanks.

would be perfect for me it had a transparent caseback and in-house movement. Hopefully VC starts making them that way. Tony
