Vacheron Constantin

Perfect blue; subdials; date font

Mostel,

I have no problem identifying the perfect blue/grey shade, as it's in use for an existing watch that I crave.  (An AP ROC in WG introduced in 2008).

The subdial asymmetry doesn't bother me as it does some, but the larger subdial is so easy to read that I see no good reason to keep the hours subdial smaller.

I forgot to mention that I would change the date display, too.  Despite the size of the appertures, I find the date difficult to read because of the narrow window, depth of the wheel, and font of the numerals, which are too old-fashioned for the industrial aspects of the watch design and which do not match the font of the dial numerals.

This all sounds overly picky, but it's these little differences that cause me to prefer the ROC and ROO over the Overseas, despite the more versatile size and great comfort of the Overseas.
