the French and English-cased V&Cs were a bit different. Hard to judge with one photo but the lugs are a bit off and I'd be looking for the hallmarks to confirm its origin.
That type of dial occurred for a short time. It would be just after 1955, but not into the 1960's. The case style, having "Automatic" on the dial, using the Maltese cross as markers, dates it to a pretty narrow range. The crown is a non correct replacemen...
