There seems to be a general misconception about the 56
it’s a new model range but not supposed to be “entry level” even though this is probably VC’s cheapest tourbillon!!!
I can only wonder how the reception for FiftySix would have changed
if they'd opened with the tourbillon instead of the steel model with outside movement?

Have yet to handle any 56 but this one is quite appealing from the stock pic...

I really liked the movement of this watch when I tried the same movement in the Traditionelle case design.

I like the peripheral rotor
Unlike the base model, but like all the others, this has the geneva seal, so hand finished after the machine work, not highest end, but nice.
It's very nicely finished...
I didn't put it under the microscope; but it looked well finished, but of course, there is room for improvement! A fatter bullnose for the anglage is always more seductive, and movement plates with more concave curvature is always nice!
