Got it today.
What a disappointment!!! Piece of crap doesn't work.
1. Can’t connect directly to my iphone 7 as it doesn’t have an old earphone jack, I have to use an adapter.
2. I connected it directly to an ipad which has the old style earphone jack.
3. Most of my watches have extreme difficulty getting a stable signal and this is on ANY position I have tried, top and bottom.
4. When I get a measurement I get a different value each time (same watch, same position) and I’m not talking decimals here but from +1sec to 9 sec or even -x to +y.
This is completely unusable and not working as advertised. AT ALL.

Easy to use and probably the best device to measure the accuracy (and other things) of your watches. Most of watchmakers use them. Nevertheless, this item is really expensive :-( You have another solution which is cheaper but I think items are not perfect...
There is another cheap app, although it can not compete with a Witschi.
Watch Tuner Timegrapher. $13 for an app that requires a totally quiet environment and careful use of a microphone.
It is not a professional tool, and I did not intend to represent it as such.

Looked to be a promising device. Perhaps yours is just defective? I was going to order one when I first heard about it but it doesn't support my Android device (Samsung Galaxy S5).

Try an ACE TIMER
Model 1000, this is the base model, no it is not a Witschi but for around $120 its good value and very usefull. I like it because its small and can be easily moved if needed. Various models may also be available on eBay David
