The main interest of it is to catch almost 100% of the light so any elements put on it will be glorified. Maybe watch brands will put this new material on cases too? I won’t be surprised to see Hublot making something like that 😉

That Vantablack is really interesting..
I read about it when it was first incorporated into the MCT Sequential One as Brandon points out. Really very cool, though I wonder how resilient it is to bangs and bumps. Very cool stuff however.
But they made a watch with it...

Technically, yes… but it’s whether it gets worn regularly or spends its time as a safe queen.
Only one of those scenarios will give rise to answering the resilience curiosity.
I saw it last year at SIHH.
Two watches had super-black zero albido materials last year. One was Panerai and the other was MCT.
