Happy New Year 2016 dear Art and to all our friends here at PuristS...
... and I wish this new year will bring lot of Peace and Good Health to us. It is so nice to read about your captures during past 2015 and the timepieces you have on your sights for this year. The watch I have been wearing during the 31st December 2015 and January 1st 2016 is the very same I have been wearing every 24th, 25th, 31st December and 1st of January of each year since 1982: it is my "Lucky Watch" ... a present of my wife in that year, and since so many years have passed since then without brakiing my custom I don´t dare to change it now! I´m not supersticious, but why tempt Lady Fortune? Lol! I´m glad to show my 1982 Rolex Date gold case and Oyster bracelet I have shown here before...
Now regarding timepieces in my wish list... the list is fairly long, but a Blancpain FF, a Longines 13ZN chrono and a vintage Milgauss 1019 are the three more important ones and the pieces which have been elusive to me during my fairly short watch collecting career. And why a 39 when you have a 40mm? I can understand a smaller version for people with smaller wrists though. Asia is a big market after all... I guess we will know in a few months if it\'s true or an honest mistake of the boutique coworker....
