My last battery driven watch was given to me by my parents as a gift for having passed one of my exams 25 years ago. Sadly it broke some day, so I am quartz-free since.
Probbably I am too much a purist, but I cannot imagine myself buying a battery driven watch myself any more
.
Since my boyhood days I have been fascinated by the miraculous and delicate little wrist machines which only need some manual winding to run. More than 30 years later I still am.
Smuggling in one of my classic favourites I wish a pleasant weekend
