. . . I know the dial to be original as it was handed down from my Dad, who only had it serviced once in '65 before retiring it to dress duty when he acquired the '65 Seiko Sea Lion. The dial, crystal, and crown are original and in good condition, considering that it was his daily wear watch for the better part of ten years. The hands are original but suffered from corrosion, so I had them polished and rhodium plated. It keeps remarkably good time, and gets trotted out once a month or so . . . cordially, Art
