I remember when I started to get really interested by watches that I was wondering why we didn't have more innovations. Of course I understood quickly (because I'm smart of course) that the more traditional features must remain but evolutions are I think very welcome too, for time keeping, reliability, wear and tear etc...

I couldn't believe that with what we know today it is impossible to improve the current mechanisms we've been knwoing for 2 centuries.

I hope this is the kind of innovations that will be included in some pieces in a regular collection. I remember the Mirkrogirder, Flying 1000 etc but they seem to have been one-shot-exercizes only.
