Patek Philippe

I like it. It just seems too small on my wrist.

My opinion. Still a good calatrava to me.
Cheers.

Even if I have a true preference for the 5712, this one is nice with its well balanced dial, a stunning micro rotor and a correct size for a dressed timepiece

May be I would have preferred a thinner bezel to give more space to the dial functions but nothing crippling for me.

Best wishes

Can't agree more...moreover, it will be even better if the hands are changed to more classic ones...

It could be you are right. But nothing really important from my side. They are coherent with the other elements of the timepiece (the straight Arab indexes for instance) IMHO

I respect it but not for me

Would bode very poorly with my symmetry OCD

i don't mind the lack of symmetry,

but as others have said, the bezel is too thick and different hands would greatly improve the overall aethetic. I also don't care for the sideways numbers ( "3" and "9")
Still, overall a nice watch and appreciate the modest case size that fits well with the movement.

I would enjoy seeing it on someone else's wrist

Agree about the thick bezel, and it does not scream Patek to me.

I agree with all

Like the idea, but the execution a bit wayward - bezel and numbers...

Nice watch

I like that watch. I remember a watchtime mag. article when it first came out. I never saw such a glowing report from the caliber to aesthetics.

I've always liked this watch...

...but a pet peeve of mine that I don't like is that the power reserve shows 'down' with the hand pointing 'up.' Many other watches do the same and I'm sure it has something to do with the internal workings of the movement.

Personally find this very appealing. Problem is competition is fierce in this price and category both within the brand and outside. So much to choose from. But could see myself wearing it with a lighter colorful strap!! [nt]

I love hobnail bezels on dress watches but three levels might be one too many.

My only issue with both refs, or any dial with power reserve, is ‘Up’ or ‘Full’ is shown in the ‘Down’ or ‘Bottom’ position. That makes no logical sense and is counter-intuitive.
