Am very tempted to pull the trigger on this ..
It’s been out for a while now… does anyone have any real life ownership experiences … essentially it’s the same as on the leather strap
which is available at quite a good discount these days but I feel for the bracelet version, we are experiencing a Patek at what Patek does best… taking a piece to the next level…
Any insight would be appreciated…
Also any idea on general availability? Have not seen any on the wrist yet…

I’ve tried on this bracelet Ellipse twice
and I find it absolutely wonderful.
My only personal problem is that it’s a piece I know I wouldn’t be able to wear on a daily basis and, given the price, it takes me back. When I spend such an amount on a watch I want to be able to wear it as much as possible. Just my personal choice of course.
According to the Patek Salon where I’ve tried it (Geneva and Paris), there’s a waiting time before getting one. Few are made and allocations are attributed progressively.

I know many love this watch.
But personally it’s not for me. I find the bracelet a bit feminine and it’s takes a lot of personality to pull it off (which I sadly don’t have). But, it looks great on your wrist. So go for it if you love it!
I have one. it was intended as a gift to partner now becomes ex. my AD only receives one per year.
I have an irrational liking for this watch...
...as the size (I think) is probably perfect for me, and the bracelet looks incredible. I just don't know if I could pull off this much opulence.
I know someone who really wants this watch but cannot get it, even though he has bought so many watches from his dealer over the years, including repeaters. I thought it was very scarce because of how difficult it was to make the bracelet. Thus, I'm surprised to hear "good discount."

I was told the gold bracelet version is an allocation piece that needs 2-3 prior purchases and needs prior approval … my AD has rec’d only 3 since launch ( the one I tried is the third one ) ..

that maybe correct. I have bought more than 5 pieces from my AD. by the way my AD is in Asia, and I guess yours is the same. I'm not sure how about other continents.
This is a very refined piece…
Watched a video of how the bracelet was put together..simply fascinating. Definitely the bracelet version.
