For me watch fatigue includes a sinking feeling or perhaps self-conscious awareness that I have invested a fairly ridiculous amount of resources (decades of research, nervous energy, day dreams and nightmares, endless imagination, and emotional investment) to inanimate objects almost to the point of worship. This is my failing and no one else's. I've chosen to dedicate myself to an extremely niche interest. Each piece represents multiple years of dedicated focus. The air is thin indeed. This high resource hobby can make me frazzled and drained.
Can anyone relate?
Best,
Robert
