Well, as surprising as it may seem,
especially knowing that I really like whisky, I've never had an Old Fashioned and I neither recognized it nor made the connection with the cocktail in the photo! So that will be my next challenge: to taste an Old Fashioned!
An Old Fashioned is notoriously difficult to get right, just like a 2-hand watch in a shaped case :-)

Old fashioned...Mad men style!
So the saga of the Gondolo continues....and I'm delighted!
I love my whisky too Emmanuel, and after much runs with many cocktails, one still runs back to the classic old fashioned. I learnt that from the infamous Don Draper, mad men fame!!
I read lots of postings here before I bought my 5098. I got the vibe this curvy tonneau piece is timeless. From the original era of the 20s/30s...right down to the jazz bar of the swinging 60s, or even during retro cool ABBA styled disco...why even in a black tie event!! Better still, in jeans, polo T but paired with a modern funky coloured strap, this Patek Philippe Gondolo in Platinum will just fit right in.
