Two questions about the lugs of this Patek Philippe ref. 2459:
- Do these lugs inspire a “yes” or a “no” in you?
- What nickname would you give them? There's one that's commonly used, but I prefer not to mention it and leave it to your imagination!

It really is a very flamboyant look.
May I suggest Mephisto-lugs?
Is it interesting? Yes.

I am struck by the fact that these lugs are primarily perceived as diabolical.
Because of the Disco Volante shape of the case and because there are four lugs not only two, I personally rather tend to see them as the arms or feet of some kind of spaceship...

Because of the Disco Volante shape of the case and because there are four lugs not only two, I personally rather tend to see them as the arms or feet of some kind of spaceship...
