Managed to try on these earlier today.
I really like the deep blue lacquered dial. This one is very tempting.
This silvertoned dial version is very attractive and refreshing. Quite different from the blue or salmon variants.

I had wanted a 5270G-019,
but like this lacquered blue even more...
Just not totally convinced with the dauphine hands, the leaf hands on the 5270G-019 look more elegant I feel.

I particularly like the 5236.
The blue dial is beautiful but impossible to read time. I really like the new grey dial. What was your impression?
I know I am biased(!), but I find the hands of the blue dial very easy to read because of the angled edge. They catch the light very easily in my experience.
Have you struggled with it?

I know I’m a fan boy of the blue dial, but genuinely I find it very easy to read in all lighting conditions.
If I was to nitpick I would say that the combination of dark blue dial and dark blue strap is a bit too much blue (and I love blue). I have ordered a custom silver grey strap from Jean Rousseau on the basis that the strap and the case will blend together and the focus should then become the amazing blue dial. In theory!

The 5236P dial looks awesome.
It has silver, grey and brown tones.
The legibilty of this 5270P is okay to me.
