I've never been a fan of the puslometer.
My personal preference goes to the ultra-thin Harmony Split-seconds.
The platinum ultra-thin Harmony split-seconds is my personal favorite.

Yes, the Harmony case was very nice, though
too large and thick except on the ultra thin models and on some less complicated ones.

I have no clue why VC decided to pull the Harmony line. It is as beautiful as it is distinctive.
What a great lineage...
All of these watches are stunning. It's a great lineage. The dial proportions of the early Ref 3307s are the best to my eyes. The subdials are large, but not too close to the centre stack. The spirit of these early watches is found in the modern Patek 595...

A favourite complication
The cushion case is very pleasing to my eyes too. Thanks for putting this together V&C’s first monopusher wrist chrono came out in 1917. There are a few more to add to your compendium here: www.watchprosite.com / Best of the Hour Lounge Wrist ...

quite a few of these come in cushion shaped cases. My favourite is the Traditionnelle 5400T/000P - the Cal 3500 is absolutely stunning. Thanks for another informative post.

...I think VC has lost their way. Everything seems a bit 'brutish.' There is a lack of subtlety and finesse...
This is certainly true of the thicker versions
of the Harmony case. The ultra thin 5400S is a bit better though. But the slim design of the 20s-40s was great indeed.
