I maybe close to getting this after 2 years wait… any feedback from owners or guys that saw it live? I own few pateks and the Vacheron 4500 but this would be my first all Gold watch. I love the fact that is a mix of elegance and sporty… I also appreciate its history…

This is a beautiful watch.
I haven’t tried it in but would love an opportunity to wear it. I haven’t seen many of these come up on secondary market either.
I’ve been able to try it on once
in April 2023 and was a little disappointed, even though I really wanted to love it because, on paper, I found the design very distinctive and refined: on my 16cm wrist the tonneau case looked too rectangular to my taste and I didn’t really like the way the bracelet remains quite large and tapers drastically only around the clasp. The weight was also too much for me, even if I know one can’t expect a full gold watch to be light. So, even if I love the dial and the grooved bezel, I wasn’t convinced (all the more so since I could easily do without the Maltese cross at the bottom right of the case, which I find to be a bit too much of branding). But it’s probably a matter of purely personal taste.

I've tried this a few times. Without doubt one my very favorite watches ever, and I hope to receive mine in the fall.
Far more subtle than you would think, with a stunning lemon cream dial. Just exquisite.
Have seen it live. Very nice brushed surface, makes it look understated yet it’s unmistakably gold. Comfortable (silky) bracelet. Ticks all boxes for me.

On the wrist, becuase of the matt gold and limited size, it doesn't look too flashy. Definitely a keeper for me. Elegant, historic but very contemporary at the same time. Very comfortable. Just an amazing, grail watch. I didn't buy anything else (so far) after this. Love it and highly recommend it!
