I believe the wait now is a lot longer. Until two days ago I was the proud owner of a Murakumo but had not worn the watch at all after two years of ownership. I therefore decided to sell it on as I prefer to wear my watches. As the watch is intensively black polished especially on the case, the bezel is easily susceptible to scratches so this watch was merely an exhibition piece at home. Enjoy your though!
The wait now for a Kikuchi is indefinite as they have closed their order books last year. Prior to their closing of orders the waitlist is about 12 years?
Sham, saw from the other thread that you have picked up the Eichi2 in rose gold. That is a sublime timepiece. Enjoy in good health, I had the good fortune to have picked up the platinum piece some years back
My ignorance in such matters are evident I am afraid

I am one who likes to keep the watch in as original a condition as possible. I have never even changed a strap from the one designated by the brand. But thank you for the suggestion.
2 and a half years ago, quite alot of my pals thought I have lost my mind to put in an order for a watch I have not handled before and will take up to 3 years to make by a relatively unknown Japanese independent watchmaker then. Very glad I pulled the trigger.
Thanks Gary, the hands were the one that caught my attention for the watch in the first place. Ordered it online 2.5 year ago directly from their website when their orders books were not that crazy. Shortly after that their orders spiked and the wait list went exponentially up. So I waited 2.5 years for the watch which like Sham mentioned isn't too bad compared to folks who went it later
