More importantly, I want to acknowledge that you are a true gentleman with a huge heart for horology (among other things, including photography and cars) with a serious, encyclopedic knowledge of watches that is second to none in our community. I was in Paris this summer, for a few days, and when you learned I would be there you reached out to see if we could meet. We had wine and appetizers together one afternoon and that informal experience, with a conversation that explored many interests, validated, to me, what a special treasure you are to all of us who faithfully read the content on this site on a daily basis. Having met you, your posts are even more meaningful to me for the person that you are. Thank you.
It's very nice to have someone to lean on all these years that makes sure the lights stay on!!!
In all seriousness 300k posts is an unfathomable amount of content that seems almost impossible to hit. A number that only someone could hit if they had a true passion for this hobby. I can speak for everyone when I say that we are truly lucky to have you here. Now on to half a mill!!!!!
Although I probably have mentioned it many times before Nicolas

Has been a huge influence on me. A gentleman, a scholar, renaissance man and being exceptionally handsome doesn’t hurt.
One of the best things I’ve ever done was become a member of this wonderful forum. All the best my dear friend, hopefully someday we can do this in person. Tony good
Getting dangerously close to the distance in kilometers that separates us from the moon, a moonwatch would be most adequate to celebrate that next milestone!
Thank you for all you do to enrich our WPS community. I've enjoyed reading your insights for years. No person on the internet is more committed to the watch collector fraternity. All the best. Tim
