Beautiful but am I the only one turned off by the idea of a one off movement? Of a watchmaker that doesn't want to make more than one because it's boring?
I want a watchmaker who wants to build more for the opportunity to make each next one better than the previous. To me I hear minimal investment in engineering and qa, zero iterative refinement, no spare parts, and a service nightmare. Watchmaking that is unserious in wonderful and terrible ways.
I see your point however if you listen to his interview he says he will build variations of the same maybe 2 a year but not copies of the same, like anything at this level of bespoke anything, you have to pay to play, for everything else you have......
