After a year of searching I was able to acquire a matching AP 25800ST Perpetual in 33mm for my wife

I always found the design of the AP RO Perpetuals to be extraordinary - and given my fondness of this particular model for me - I started a hunt for my wife, so that we could have a "matching set". Condition and provenance and paperwork was important, and as she has been hooked on her ceramic pieces, she wanted something light and elegant.

Fast forward to today, here she is below proudly wearing her 25800ST. Amazing below despite the size and age difference between hers and my Salmon, there is an elevated elegance with her model. I hope one day they make additional complicated models in 33mm - and as I gaze at the dial it's clear there is an outstanding amount of craftsmanship and micro mechanical details, especially on the dial.

Really like the AP PCs.

Love that this dial has more wording that the modern day PC, especially around the year dial as well as the Moonphase. One of our favorite features!

And she proudly wears her AP models over her other brands - now trying to get the kids into it.

Another incredibly iconic piece in the 3940, the 1526, or the 3448. But all a bit too traditional for my wife's taste Love the design aesthetic of the AP RO - and especially how it seems to look modern despite its age.

I am reaching the age where my dwindling eyesight makes PC a bit meaningless but I can still appreciate the effort required.

I'm not sure what the font sizes are of these watches but I would assume less than 8 point font - which is difficult for any reader. May be one of the reasons we have big dates, big numerals, and big hands on some of the newer models. And the iPhone always serves as the best and most accurate Perpetual Calendar.

In any case, there is an extraordinary finesse to this timepiece that is special
