Hoping to complete the trio one day...
I just fell in love with the Mark 1 quattro when I saw a video by Tim Mosso. And shortly after ...the 8200. I'm now torn between the 16 1860/2 or the new lucent steel versions . Honestly...I can't wait to have a trio representing the pillars of LUC. Till today I think chopard luc is underappreciated in the secondary market.

The sweep second counterweight on the LUC Sport 2000 is so cool.

I would say that you should go with one of the new steel versions for the following two reasons:
- They don't feature a date window.
- They have a guilloché pattern which radiates from the cartouche with the brand name instead of radiating from the center of the dial, like on your Quattro: I think it would make a nice variety.
Just my personal feeling, of course.

Very valuable insight Emmanuel...
I forgot about the guilloche difference on the dial of the new 1860. Another point about the guilloche is also that one can appreciate it has a deeper cut into the gold dial. Amazing 3d effect from that too. My initial hesitation was the price of the lucent steel version being more expensive than the original gold in the used market. However...this is truly a a very good question to ask oneself. Which carries the emotional value of completing the trio....

Yes, deeper cut into the dial and... deeper cut into the wallet, unfortunately!
