This is a grail piece for me....

And like you Nicolas, I seem to be charmed largely by pieces from the late 90s to the early 2010s. The 5110 world timer diameter, hands , crown guards, and guilloche dial just provide the perfect combination. Hopefully...one day...one day soon... Rishi

Ok. Thankfully, an effort was made, which is far more than we can say about other manufacturers. Would be great to see more desk and wall clocks being offered.

My wife enjoyed our gold-colored 5110 wall clock for many years. Have heard from many who visited our home how they enjoyed seeing it. Would you like to have a nice wall clock? Surely there's desire, and demand, once one is properly created and the typica

Patek Philippe 5110P.

From Basel Fair, year 2000. Year 2000 was a great cru, with some good releases from Patek, such as this one and the 5100. 26 years after, where are we??? Best, Nicolas

Given that I have a recently discontinued AD I am currently focused on discontinued references :-)

More seriously, I have always had a soft spot for the celestial complication and the 6105G is very cool but it is also out of reach. The 5610/1P is lovely but in a small collection it would only make sense instead of my blue 5711/1A which has been getting

Thank you my friend..

I think your summary of thoughts echo mine as well. Something about the case design that I find so appealing. Of course, one can wish for other hypothetical add ons ie applied hour markers/applied breguet numerals...but its time I get something that doesn

Dear Rishi,

Choosing a calatrava....

Its never easy to choose or pick 1, as there are just so many references! I guess the way to go about it is to follow a flow chart approach, and be cognisant of the fact that not every detail you want, is carried by a single referrence. The 3796dj, althou

I had the same experience

The 5110G was the first Patek I really fell for, though in my case was also the first one I owned! I still think it's the best modern world time watch, and just a spectacularly easy everyday wearer:

Congrats on a wonderful trio!

I also have a soft spot for that case style with the crown guards. Actually, I've owned a 5110G in the past, and currently a 5130G (which is an absolute keeper in my collection). And sometimes I search for the 5125, which tempts me a lot, but the price is
