Both the Lange 1 (38mm) and Thin (37mm) look large. There is the Saxonia 219.032 (35mm) which might work for you. The important thing is the right fit. A heavy watch can be contained under cuffs. But, a loose watch will shift around and annoy you. Is the ... 

At first, I was dubious about the new fanged gadgets. But, I have discovered that a very precise fit is possible. There are after-market straps with clasps.

but the Saxonia size does seem to suit your wrist better and looks fantastic. Of course they are very different in that the Sax is a pure dress watch whilst the other has large date, power reserve and sub seconds so I suppose it depends on what you want f...

The size does not matter, only how you feel wearing it.

Perception is everything. If it feels right...it IS right.

They are on the large size, but pics do generally enhance the \'lug overhang\'. Go for the one you like and wear it with joy

I would second the suggestion of the little Lange (36mm) or the 35mm Saxonia. That said, the Saxonia thin at 37mm looks quite good too, but in my very limited experience the nagging little feeling that it might be too large is hard to dispel.

But look at the upside: we can wear cool vintage stuff without making it look too small

Buy this now! The new 37mm Lange1 with guilloche dial! I said now! Nevermind that it is not quite available, it will be soon!

I wanted the Sax AC which I believe is the same size. It is not so much that the watch is big, the lugs are too long IMO but that is how ALS is. One way around the lugs sticking out is to get a thicker strap or have a customised strap to the right length,...

And went to try on the Saxonia 35mm today. And it fits nicely on my wrist (thank god). I also love the fact that its price is same as the Thin 37mm, making the decision much easier. Now, I'd prefer a PG version of this beauty. ...  

Like you I struggled but between the Saxonia and VC tradionalle. I went with VC at the end but the Saxonia remains on my target list. Anyway, they are both desirable but think Saxonia suitd you better.

I have a size 5.9 wrist so smaller wrist also. I just buy a short strap and wear all sizes up to 40mm. If the Lange one sings to you, I suggest you try it with a short strap available. I am planning to get a Lange One also Take also a look at the new Lang... 

a fellow purist with a small wrist! Both the Lange 1 and Saxonia thin are too large for you. My suggestion is that you opt for the 35mm Saxonia which should be a perfect for your wrist.

But it is a Lange. So who could blame you? Although size wise a 37 mm would be more in balance with your wrist.

The older 1815's are 36mm and fit nicely on slim wrists. I too have a slim wrist and find the old 1815 sits well. 1815 Pt ...

Why not! The little Lange 1 is something I'd like to see. Without pusher, the watch seems to be more elegant.

As a Lange 1 owner...no other watch gives me more joy to look at! I would suggest you make it fit on your wrist! You won't regret it! I see people with slightly larger wrists wearing 44mm and 45 mm watches. 38 mm won't be too bad. I would suggest you also...
