A heavy watch can be contained under cuffs. But, a loose watch will shift around and annoy you.
Is the Lange strap stiff? A simple pin buckle means that the watch has to fit loose. You can't release the pin buckle if the fit is tight. So, is the strap right for you?

How about a single deployment/fold clasp?
At first, I was dubious about the new fanged gadgets. But, I have discovered that a very precise fit is possible. There are after-market straps with clasps.

I would second the suggestion of the little Lange (36mm) or the 35mm Saxonia. That said, the Saxonia thin at 37mm looks quite good too, but in my very limited experience the nagging little feeling that it might be too large is hard to dispel.

I wanted the Sax AC which I believe is the same size. It is not so much that the watch is big, the lugs are too long IMO but that is how ALS is. One way around the lugs sticking out is to get a thicker strap or have a customised strap to the right length,...
