I first thought that 1815 CHR would be the one - a bit defiant to the majority. It was/ still is cool watch. I preferred WG, but RG is very elegant as well. But one day, I flipped and traded 1815 CHR (+cash) into Dato Pt. Sure, it is thicker, heavier, more expensive, etc., but I now love it very much. Combination of whity platinum and black dial which can look navy depending on the light, and silver subdials. Lumi on the hands is not my liking, but acceptable. Simply beautiful. Needless to say, so is the movement. Don't get me wrong. 1815 CHR served me quite well for a while and is a wonderful watch being collectible as it is now discontinued. But my taste has changed and I am in love with Dato now. Go with your heart. Fortunately, Dato is still in production and you can "flip" in the future if your taste changes....
