G'day, admittedly it´s probably not something new and more random thoughts, after looking around in online forums. But then, some conclusions came to mind and i´d be curious whether or not these find pro´s or con´s: 1. Lange followers appreciate their wat... 

Do you consider an enthusiast and a collector as the same type of person? Would owners of Pateks fall into this same category that you are describing? The other persons comment (sorry don't have name in front of me) about buying a Lange now and waiting 20... 

Here in Germany, the iconic Lange 1 list price may reflect: 1994 - around 14.000 Euro (region of 26.000 German Marks then) 2007 - around 20.800 Euro 50% in 13 years ?? I don't know if that is good or bad but it's strange cause most brands (probably all br... 

Hi Bruno, that seems to be correct. As far as i can see (and i may be wrong), the Lange 1 started at $17,550 in the US in 1994 and is $25,200 today. This would equal 3.1 percent/year; some more exact conversion from German Marks to Euro results in 3.38 pe... 

3% is almost the same as the inflation. Don't they need to ask more ? I think their profit margin will in that case also be more or less raise with 3% per year I would not invest (and I'm realy talking about the company when I say 'invest' I DON'T see wat...

Hi Carl, i may be off, but both in relative and absolute terms Lange watches seem to make for a rare breed. The production total is a fraction of what others do, so there can´t be too many around But i´d guess the picture is a bit more complete keeping in...

That´s probably the most impressive expression of real passion i´ve seen for a long time... I wasn´t sure the line about the Dato watching the lawn mowing was *that* serious. But i stand corrected - chapeau! Way cool! Cheers, Peter
