As an owner of a number of their watches im a huge fan and we certainly don't know the whole story. I just feel that as a top brand Lange really should service those watches assuming they are all original no matter the date of production or how big of a pain it is to do. To me it's disappointing to hear otherwise and going forward I'll steer clear of their vintage pieces as I wouldn't want to risk not having the option of Lange working on one.

It is not unreasonable for customers to expect that any model that has been manufactured since the inception of the company can be serviced as long as the watch is authentic.

Unfortunate my first post had to be of this nature but..
As a passionate Lange collector I was very disappointed and taken aback by the apparent attitude and how things were handled. I haven't had any communication with them since a phone call from the boutique following the email.
BTW, have you reached out to Alkis here in NYC.........
He is the official servicer of Lange watches in the US. I would be surprised if he couldn't service those watches assuming no parts are missing and the watches are in working order currently. Tony
Alkis is an Official Lange Servicer but that may be limited to modern Langes...
But I'm not sure he's an Official Lange Restorer. So he may be able to service the watches and give them what they need. But he may not be able to restore them in an official capacity.
