Thrilled to add this captivating piece to my collection! In past posts, I speculated that a Lange 1 would possibly be next on my horizon. I was fortunate to own the regular Lange 1 in pink gold a few years ago, however I came to find it kind of a challeng...

Black-dialed Lange + perfect radio subdials + moonphase + gorgeous day/night indicator. It’s a horological dream. Wear it in good health

Worth hanging on to all our internal organs if possible though... I can recommend a savings plan, plus the courage to release a piece to contribute to acquiring another piece.

Yes: I think I may have enjoyed one of the early YG examples with all blued hands. Per my previous posts, I grew into Lange loving the 1815, which, other than special editions, always had at least one blued hand and most-often had all blued hands. I alway... 

I too prefer blue hands and/or printed markers, to increase the contrast. I am drawn less to the "classic" Lange 1 models that have the combination of applied markers and non-contrasting hands (such as the 101.021, 101.025, 101.032). An exception to that ...

I believe numbers 1-20 had a gold second hand and 21-100 had a steel blue second hand, in general, but I recall seeing one exception to that general rule. The Lange 1 moonphase with the white dial, printed markers, and blue hands was made for the Italian ... 

No wonder I'd not seen that Moon Phase before...

... that had applied blue steel markers and hands. But it was the style with the overlapping subdials, which I don't like so much (and the date window looks too small to me). ...
