I have a lot to say and good point for the discussion, I tend to disagree on some of your comments (and I agree on others).
- I really like the Datograph and the power reserve display doesn't disturb me.
- the PC Tourbillon is technically impressive (I will do specific posts on some detais) but I have the feeling to see a Lange Daymatic. I would have prefered a more daring design. It is a point I underlined several times to Lange during the week.
- Grand Lange 1: very balanced watches of course, the use of the single barrel etc... but the previous lange 1 was offering something... original even if it was criticized a lot in the past. The revious Lange 1 will become an UFO !
- Timezone: ok, I don't have specific comment on it... except the interesting changes on the cities ring.
- Ladies watches with automatic movement: yes, clever move.
- I will just make a specific one about the Saxonia Thin.
I do agree about the dial colour, I also expressed the same remark to the Lange team. This watch gives the ability to propose another colour to make it also more "contrasting" with the PG one. I would have been so happy with a deep blue on it.
But reducing the size wouldn't be in my point of view a good idea. For one reason:
- the concept of the watch is based on slenderness: the will of Lange with the Saxonia Thin is to propose an unusual diameter/thickness ratio in the collection. The watch may loose its interest if it becomes smaller. That'smy point of view.
And of course, everybody agrees on the warm welcome of the whole staff, it is always a big pleasure to visit Lange booth thanks to its very friendly atmosphere. We always feel "at home" with the Lange team.
I will prepare my report during the upcoming days.
