The only one which doesn't speak to me is the referenz uhr... Its unbalanced dial still leaves me cold, as when I saw it in Geneva, at the beginning of this year. To me, it is a kind of small " 31 days " which is far frm being my favourite Lange watch. No...

As I've said many times before, the Richard Lange Pour Le Merite is my favorite timepeice from the entire A. Lange & Soehne collection. Thank you for the comprehensive report that categorizes the Richard Lange family.

I would love the black dial (preferably enamel!) RL and if they created one, I might consider.... Otherwise, even if I had deep pocket, I wouldn't be tempted due to the size. For me, it is too big on my wrist, unfortunately, VERY unfortunately.... Thank y...

It's way too big for me. At 37mm it would have been the ultimate model. At 41mm, sorry, but too much.

the original RL in PT sings to me unfortunately, I love all the quality movement and finishing of the rest of RL however they fail on dial cutoffs on my list, sorry. The original RL remains the only Lange on my List after the Datograph. Cheers Mech.

Especially the PLM! I'm curious though, what do you mean by dial cutoff? Are you referring that the dials of the PLM and ReferenzUhr are not one-piece, but have the levels to them, and that is the no no for you? Thanks for sharing with me your opinion! St... 

the PLM and all things Lange are top notch, as such it must be 100% perfect for me, including the dial design! When I said cutoff I'm referring to the sub-dials cutting into the marker/indexes. I'm just anal about these small little imperfection. The orig...

I mean,objects, and in this case watches give emotions as you well know. The RL PLM is definetely a incredible watch,coveted by many,desired because of its technical merits and incredible finesse(chain and fusee,perfect finish, enamel dial an on and on...... 

And i would like to thank you for lending me an insight into your thoughts of my most beloved. Nothing wrong i see there with what you think about it, just personal emotions, and i like that! Well, i hope that you will get the Zeitwerk of your dreams one ... 

With the ZW is a little tricky as Ilove the WG version but a certain luminous is hounting me a lot.....it is almost impossible to get and will require a big big econimic effort......we'll see.... Have a good start of the week too..... Mo

That watch is just whimsical and fantastic. It's a fantasy, to have an active dial that opens and closes. Beautiful article! I enjoyed all of it! I know which one is my favorite...

the RL PLM T didn´t exist, because it was introduced in 2011 :-) To me it is a nice watch with some interesting features, but it is not tempting. The dial with a moving part is a nice feature, but I still would have prefered something more understated her...  

Oliver, This may be the only time i can recall where my opinion on a piece differs from yours (at least when i am mumbling to myself reading your posts :) ). I agree with you the essense of the RL Tourby PLM may not fit with the characteristics of the RL ...  

I didn't notice we were revisiting a post from 2010! Yes, of course, the Tourbillon version wasn't out yet. Fully agree with you, the watch is not understated like the rest of the collection. I call the watch "fantastic" because I think the moving dial is...
