I am sorry to hear about your troubles. Nonetheless, if you're displeased, ditch the brand. If you're willing to make an acceptance, be of a generous heart.
Anomalies and mistakes happen amongst all brands. My 458 had errors, but it is what it is. My PP had a misprint on the dial, if I refused it that's the end.
Kari, I'll be honest. You're obviously a successful man and someone who knows what he wants. If you're dissatisfied, let it be shown; if you can accept it, accept it and move on.

Doubtful of a full refund
but i hope they manage to make things right replace the entire watch and triple QC the damn watch. Surprised for a company of such standing to have such issue so soon after the repair. Keep your chin up they will do the right thing.

What is that stuff on the movement anyway? Dirt? Oxidation? Hard to tell from the photos. Whatever it is it is totally unacceptable and AP needs to make this right in a hurry.

I know sometimes shit happens and I think most of us would give vendors we like a shot or two to fix problems, But this is embarrassing. Maybe just bad luck, but bad luck can be fixed by good service. You are a good customer - too good for AP imo.
