The new movement for your perpetual is unacceptable, AP should've given a whole new watch.
Keep on testing your perpetual and try to get new official papers, but the truth is that if you're going to sell it, you'll lose likely a 50%.
Street price of used QP is close to 20k, that's why I never bought new and still I don't buy new, expect when I get huge discount.
I know forum policy, but sometimes price is a key factor, mostly in.situations like this one

On the other hand; my two RO have been "serviced" 4 times plus movement change. I did not get one single answer from AP. Luckily, a nice master watchmaker explained me some of the problems after having a look without opening the back. Best, Kari

but i hope they manage to make things right replace the entire watch and triple QC the damn watch. Surprised for a company of such standing to have such issue so soon after the repair. Keep your chin up they will do the right thing.

I know AP approves design of the personalised oscillating weight and i doubt they would put one that would do this to the movement? some other reason perhaps.

What is that stuff on the movement anyway? Dirt? Oxidation? Hard to tell from the photos. Whatever it is it is totally unacceptable and AP needs to make this right in a hurry.

I know sometimes shit happens and I think most of us would give vendors we like a shot or two to fix problems, But this is embarrassing. Maybe just bad luck, but bad luck can be fixed by good service. You are a good customer - too good for AP imo.
