Is this really an AP?
After spending a week with this Skeleton Jumping Hour Minute Repeater piece, I continue to be just shocked and amazed at how wonderfully different this AP is to the rest of my mostly modern collection. The movement - superlative. The finishing - sublime. The design - organic. And the technology - next level. If you took out the brand name from the dial - would you believe that this was made by the same artisans who are making the Concept, the RD5, or the Universelle?
I'm hopeful in the future, especially with the recent release of the Atelier d'Etablisseurs and the Neo Frame - maybe we can see some more pieces inspired from the archive.
One amazing example is being auctioned pretty soon - a 5503. I know the Remaster 1 has a similar case but wow! Imagine if this piece was brought back...
